Charming stay with a homely vibe
My stay at Orari Boutique Hotel in Christchurch was delightful, with cozy rooms and friendly staff who went out of their way to provide assistance. Breakfast featured fresh and delicious options like croissants and fruit compote, creating a great start to the day.
While the overall experience was lovely, the creaky floors in old rooms and some minor issues with shower pressure detracted from the comfort. Plus, navigating the locks at night wasn’t the most seamless experience.

Charming Victorian house creates a warm atmosphere.
During my stay, I struggled with noisy creaky floors that made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful night. The shower pressure was disappointingly weak, leaving me frustrated after long days of exploring. Additionally, some traffic noise from the street seeped into my room, making it challenging to fully relax and unwind.

Cozy atmosphere with a variety of room sizes, making it suitable for different travelers. Immaculate rooms complemented by spacious bathrooms provide comfort during the stay.
WiFi connection posed a bit of a challenge, and the absence of details on using the TV remote was frustrating. Breakfast options offered little more than basic items, limited to boiled eggs and toast, which could use more hearty choices. The elevator wasn't operational until 8 a.m. when an early airport departure made it inconvenient for lugging heavy suitcases downstairs.

the upper floor was creaky, combined with the frigid air since the heater didn’t work woudl ve been a perfect recipe for a comfortable stay. i expected a lovely welcome amenity but—not even a complimentary water bottle in sight. i just couldn’t give a good review.

The charm of the heritage building is remarkable, providing a cozy atmosphere with well-maintained rooms. Helpful staff ensured an enjoyable stay, and the breakfast options were notably delicious. However, there was some noise from the street at night, and I found the shower pressure somewhat lacking. Additionally, thicker curtains could enhance comfort during restful nights.

The ambiance in the historic building created a warm and inviting stay. The cozy garden provided a lovely place to unwind with a book. The staff were genuinely accommodating and offered assistance with local suggestions and attractions. The room's view of the garden was a pleasant surprise that enhanced our experience.
Traffic noise at night disrupted our rest.

The stay was lovely, especially enjoying the cozy garden with a large wooden table and comfy benches where we relaxed when the weather was nice. Charming atmosphere like an art gallery! The staff were incredibly helpful, guiding us to attractions around the city. Breakfasts were delicious with many options. A relaxing lounge area added to the charm. 🖼️✨
The only downside was a bit of noise from traffic at night. perhaps thicker curtains would help further enhance the experience.
